He has served in the Territorial Army for 4 years.12th May 2012..Picture by Trooper Mark Larner, W Sqn RY...SOLDIERS from 104 Regiment Royal Artillery (Volunteers) hosted a Territorial Army Employers Challenge Day, today Saturday, May 12, 2012, at Raglan Barracks, Newport. .The aim of the day was to increase the employers awareness of the Territorial Army (TA) and its functions in the local community by providing a number of mentally and physically demanding challenges in a military environment..The exercise was sponsored by 104 Regt RA with the full support of SaBRE Wales and involved participants from various companies in South Wales. The event focused on the employers of TA soldiers rather than the soldiers themselves, with the day being run by TA soldiers and designed to highlight the benefits of command, leadership, ethos and team spirit that is gained by being a member of the TA. .Participants were organised in to teams of six to eight and will navigate around nine stands within Raglan Barracks, ranging from command tasks to information stands with teams being scored on their performance with the winning teams to be awarded prizes..The day was also being used to focus recruiting, in particular, for potential officers and soldiers for 104 Regt RA and Army Cadet Force volunteers..For more information contact:..MEDIA OPERATIONS Swyddfar Wasg.Headquarters 160 (Wales) Brigade.
